Thinking of pre-ordering Crimson Desert? Here’s if you get any bonuses

It’s definitely been a slow build for Crimson Desert, but as things have gotten closer to the release date, more and more fantastic features are being announced by Pearl Abyss.

If these have got you hyped and you’ve thought about getting a pre-order in for this huge single-player adventure, you’re going to want to know if there are any additional goodies for doing so.

Here’s what you need to know about whether there are any Crimson Desert pre-order bonuses.

Are there any Crimson Desert pre order bonuses?

Since there are quite a few character customization options, whether that be hair color, outfits, and more, as well as a plethora of weapons and armor to pick up on your travels through Pywell, these naturally lend themselves to additional purchasable content or in-game stores.

While Pearl Abyss has stated that there are no microtransactions in the game, there are pre-order bonuses you can secure if you purchase a copy early.

If you do choose to pre-order Crimson Desert, you will receive the Khaled Shield for your playthrough. This isn’t exactly a huge pull, but at least it’s better than nothing.

There are two more sets of pre-order bonuses, but these are for Pearl Abyss’ other games, Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile.

For Black Desert you’ll net the Ashen Crow Horse Gear​, Dream Arduanatt Horse Emblem, Golden Star Pet, and Golden Star Statue. For Black Desert Mobile, you’ll receive the Ashen Crow​​ Barding, 4,000 Black Pearls, Golden Star Pet, and Golden Star Statue.

It doesn’t matter which edition you pick, so you can just opt for the Standard edition, and you’ll get the same bonuses as those who go all out on the Collector’s edition.

Technically, there is one exception; the Mac version does not come with any pre-order bonus, but this is because there is no way to actually pre-order it on the App Store.

The only other thing to note here is that there is one more bonus you can secure, but this is only available if you’re playing on PS5.

This is the Grotevant Plate Set, and again, it comes with any copy of the game. You don’t need to pre-order to get this, but worth mentioning before you go buying Crimson Desert on a different platform and miss out on this additional bit of armor.
