Pragmatic Play sparks a gang war with expanding Wilds in Eastern Fury

Pragmatic Play has launched Eastern Fury, a new gang-themed slot where rival factions battle across the reels using expanding Wilds, escalating multipliers and sticky Free Spins.

Played across a 5×5 grid, the latest addition to Pragmatic Play’s portfolio puts its expanding Wild mechanic at the heart of both base and bonus play.

Expanding Wilds can initially appear on reel five, completely covering the reel while carrying one of two competing multipliers ranging from 2x all the way up to 100x.

Things get particularly interesting when one lands without creating a winning combination.

Rather than disappearing, the Wild remains locked in place and triggers a respin. Additional expanding Wilds can then arrive on reels four and three, working their way from right to left until one of the respins eventually produces a win.

Sticky Wilds power the Eastern Fury Bonus Game

Landing between three and five Scatter symbols activates the Bonus Game, with the number collected determining how many Free Spins are awarded.

Three Scatters provide 10 Free Spins, four increase that total to 15, while landing all five awards the maximum 20 spins.

During the feature, every expanding Wild and its attached multiplier becomes sticky, remaining in position for subsequent spins.

New Wilds continue arriving from right to left, allowing more of the grid to become covered as the Bonus Game progresses. With each symbol carrying multipliers of up to 100x, the feature has the potential to become considerably more powerful as additional reels are taken over.

Eastern Fury also includes an enhanced Super Free Spins feature.

This upgraded round can be triggered when one of the Scatters responsible for activating the Bonus Game appears as a Super Scatter.

When that happens, the minimum multiplier attached to expanding Wilds is increased to 10x, removing the lowest possible values and immediately giving the feature a more aggressive starting point.

The combination of sticky symbols and steadily expanding reel coverage means Eastern Fury’s bonus can effectively escalate into an all-out turf war by its later spins.
