There are technically five different Crimson Desert editions available if you count both the physical and digital versions.

Physical variants are Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s, whereas Digital just has Standard and Deluxe due to the main draw of the high-priced edition coming with an impressive dragon statue.

If you’re not too invested in the world and lore that surrounds it, we suggest you get a pre-order in for the Standard edition of Crimson Desert. You’ll get the full game, pre-order bonus, and the PS5 exclusive item if you’re playing on that system.

You’ll probably be picking up a bunch of different armor as you progress, so the beefed-up Deluxe edition is likely not worth it, unless you absolutely love the look of what gets bundled in.
