Sailing is officially live in OSRS much to the delight of those who absolutely love the grind.

With the new skill naturally comes new quests, enemies, and items that you’ll have to discover as you progress toward being the captain of your very own ship.

One item that could be key to you progressing the Sailing skill is the Sailors’ Amulet but how do you get your hands on it?

How to get the Sailors’ Amulet in OSRS

The Sailors’ Amulet is a drop from Shipwreck Salvaging. If you haven’t got to this activity yet, it is an early unlock via a Salvaging Hook facility on your Raft or Skiff.

Once you’ve got this prepped, just sail out, park over a wreck, run the hook, and sort your haul back at port. It isn’t a guaranteed drop, so if luck is on your side, you may just have a Sailors’ Amulet among the scrap.

If you’re already thinking that’s too much work, sadly, there’s no Grand Exchange shortcut since the item is untradeable, so you can’t buy one, and your fellow crewmates can’t gift one to you either.

The Sailors’ Amulet is another of those teleporting pieces of jewellery that teleport directly to three key hubs of The Pandemonium island, Port Roberts, and Deepfin Point. However, for the latter two, you must discover the local sailors’ market there before those destinations unlock.

As you would expect, each teleport consumes one charge but you can replenish these easily. To top it up, use 1 Law rune and 10 Water runes on the amulet to add 10 charges.

If you’re planning on going all in on Sailing you will definitely want to get a Sailors’ Amulet as soon as possible, allowing you to cut out unnecessary traveling, and ensuring you’re getting as much XP as possible during your session.
