Resident Evil Requiem has a pre-order bonus, but what is it?
Resident Evil Requiem is bringing back two character horror back, with the chance for you to get involved with both Grace Ashcroft and the RE legend that is Leon Kennedy throughout the experience.
If you’re either a fan of Resident Evil or simply like the look of this new iteration, you might be thinking about locking in a copy early.
The good news is you don’t have to stress about editions for any extra pre-order bonus goodies since there’s a single pre-order bonus across the board.
Here is what the Resident Evil Requiem pre-order bonus is, so you know whether you’re enticed by buying before launch, or if you want to save a few bucks on getting a second-hand copy.
What is the Resident Evil Requiem pre-order bonus?
There is a singular pre-order bonus you can secure if you do choose to purchase a copy of Resident Evil Requiem ahead of its February 27, 2026, release date.
This is the Apocalypse Grace Costume, which adds a little more grime to Grace Ashcroft’s appearance, as well as looking extra combat-ready.
Furthering this, Grace’s Apocalypse Costume is a cosmetic outfit only; there are no stat boosts or gameplay advantages. In other words, it’s purely for style, and since you’re able to switch between a first and third-person camera, at least you’ll be able to see it throughout.
Something to keep in mind is that Capcom’s store messaging notes that the bonus “made available separately in the future,” so it could end up sold separately after launch.
This has happened before in prior Resident Evil titles, with either it being available for purchase after the fact or actually unlockable in-game.
So, if you’re not overly bothered about getting a new outfit right out the gate, you might be able to hang back and secure the costume regardless of when you pick the game up.
