To complete Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimensions, you’ll need this Bad Dreams Cruller recipe

In Pokemon games, you instantly think of catching monsters or battling against Trainers to see who is superior. But in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimensions DLC, you’ll need to become a master Donut maker to actually complete the new content.

While there are other Donuts to make, it is the Bad Dreams Cruller recipe that is required to advance the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 mission, bringing the story to its climax.

How to make the Bad Dreams Cruller in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

If you’re having a little trouble with the Bad Dreams Cruller in Mega Dimensions, you’ll need to get learning because if you don’t bake one, you’re not squaring up to Darkrai.

You’re essentially given the Bad Dreams Cruller recipe in-game, but it is very easily skipped over, especially if you’re spamming those buttons to skip dialogue.

If you are one of those who did this, just speak Ansha at Hotel Z and pick the dialogue prompt of “I’d like to try that Cruller recipe.”

You’re looking to satisfy five taste profiles: Spicy, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, and Fresh, and each needs to register as filled before you can lock in the recipe.

The balance of these is lopsided with Sour being the heavyweight requirement, Spicy and Sweet next in line, while Bitter and Fresh only need a light touch. You’ll know when each has been done as they will have the colored line through the number.

As for which berries can be combined to get this result, we’ve found that a solid go-to is 3x Hyper Tanga Berry, 3x Hyper Kasib Berry, and 1x Hyper Coba Berry, and 1x Hyper Kelpsy Berry.

These are all Hyperspace variants so if you’re missing any of the above, dive back into Hyperspace Lumiose and farm until you’ve got enough of them to light up those aforementioned taste bars.

You’ll then need to confirm the mix to bake the Bad Dreams Cruller, receiving the unique donut, and unlocking the next part of the story.
