Uru: The Path of the Shell announced

Ubisoft today announced the final expansion pack for Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, titled The Path of the Shell. The third piece of the game will be available on July 13th at the price of $19.99. Also a box set with the complete Uru saga was announced, titled Uru: Complete Chronicles, including Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, To D’ni and The Path of the Shell.

The Path of the Shell will challenge and reward players with many new puzzles, new clothing options (including reward clothing), new player journals, technical features (including swimming), and five all-new Relto customization options.

“The Path of the Shell further expands the Uru portion of the Myst adventure series,” said Rand Miller, co-creator of Myst and president of Cyan Worlds. “We know fans are excited to play through the next stages of the Uru story, and we’re confident they will be impressed.”

Uru: Ages Beyond Myst was originally intented to be mainly an online adventure game but, after some misfortunes regarding the stability of the game’s online portion, Uru Live was terminated in February.
