The point-and-click thriller Unholy Adventure: Mystery is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch on December 22, four years after its initial release on mobile.

The story follows Peter Grim, an ordinary man whose life suddenly changes when his wife suddenly disappears from within his gloomy neighborhood. The intense tale requires the player to solve hundreds of puzzles and experience richly detailed story moments that will immerse you the longer you play.

Developers Dali Games and publisher RedDeer Games have added that the story will be no different to the mobile version, with some minor improvements to allow the game to run smoothly on the new platform without any major bugs.

The Switch version will also feature all of the numerous add-ons that the game has had as soon as it is released.

Why did mobile players enjoy Unholy Adventure: Mystery?

The game has amassed more than three million players since its launch, with fans praising the smooth mechanics and the fact that the puzzles require intuition, but are not impossible to solve.

And that feeling seems to be mutual across the player base. The game averages a 4.7 rating on the App Store after 390 reviews, but also a 4.6 rating on the Google Play Store after an astonishing 34,000 reviews.

Will Unholy Adventure be on both Switch consoles?

Yes, Unholy Adventure: mystery will be available on both Nintendo Switch devices. It’ll be available on the original Switch, which was released in March 2017 and on the Switch 2, which was released in June 2025.

How much storage does the game require?

Unholy Adventure: Mystery will only require approximately 903MB of storage, which will likely mean that you can leave your favourite games sitting on your Switch’s memory due to the solid amounts of internal storage available on both Switches.
