The Man Came Around is an upcoming survival adventure game that centers around a group of activists trying to escape from a police state. The game, developed by Thierry Brimioulle, a solo developer who operates under the name Pipette Inc.

The game is set in Occida, one of the world's most powerful nations, currently in turmoil due to mass protests. Players will take on the roles of five citizens desperate to escape the chaos. The only way out is through the Northern Border, a heavily fortified fence located in the mountains. As you journey through the wilderness, you'll face grave dangers and will have to make tough decisions to evade your pursuers and escape the lethal maze. The game promises to test your moral compass as survival might not always align with doing the right thing.

The Man Came Around offers a unique blend of survival mechanics and narrative choices, all presented in a hand-drawn art style inspired by minimalism and speed painting. The game features permadeath for the characters, a trauma system where stress and guilt affect your characters, and replayability where each play-through can lead to different outcomes.
