If you’re in need of Rusted Tools in Arc Raiders, here’s how to get them
As always in Arc Raiders, it’s a battle for resources. Whether you’re in need of extra firepower or just require materials for crafting, you’ll be scrounging around Topside to see what you can come back with.
Rusted Tools are always a good find since they can be used in a variety of different ways, such as upgrading your Gunsmith bench, or recycling into Metal Parts and Steel Springs.
Even though you’ve likely picked some up in raids randomly or secured some off a fellow Speranzan’s body, knowing exactly where to find Rusted Tools could be key to unlocking any progression you’re working toward.
Where to find Rusted Tools in Arc Raiders
If you’re on the lookout for more Rusted Tools in Arc Raiders, whether that be for the aforementioned reasons or to advance the Avian Alarm Project, there are some specific places you can search for them.
Thankfully, you won’t have to worry about taking any Arc down, contrary to that of Comet Igniters or Turbine Compressors, as you’ll just have to do some exploration instead.
The first tried and true way of securing Rusted Tools is searching in buses. Within the searchable trunk sections in the buses are a prime spot, and if you target these, you should be able to extract with a bunch.
Buses are obviously not on every map, but they appear on enough to ensure you’re not just doing the same run over and over.
Another key place you can search for Rusted Tools is metal crates. These are available in abundance, so you shouldn’t have much trouble finding enough to rummage through.
And finally, if you’ve exhausted those two spots, just search in Mechanical or Industrial areas. While this is more of a potluck method, there’s no way you won’t come out of a raid with at least one if you do enough looking.
