The ultimate prank simulator, Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge, is set to join the Steam Next Fest, announced Patrones y Escondites. From June 10 to June 17, players can step into the shoes of a school hero, seeking revenge against the school bully, in the game's demo available on Steam.

Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge transports us back to our teenage years, challenging us to confront the school bully. Justice is in your hands as you execute pranks, hiding pineapples in the most unexpected places, driving the bully to the brink of insanity. Inspired by a Reddit post, the game is an interactive mischief adventure, filled with humor, hand-drawn art, and a unique personality. It tells a story through punk mini-challenges, leading to an unexpected ending.

The game is a fresh take on video games as a narrative medium, similar to what the team achieved with the multi-award-winning Unmemory. A new trailer for Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge has been released:

Slated for release on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices this summer, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam. But for those who can't wait, get a taste of the pineapple-flavored fun with the demo during the Steam Next Fest.

The creators of Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge aim to address the complex issue of school bullying in a non-paternalistic, resonant way, using humor as their chosen tool. By creating a video game, they hope to reach a wider audience and spark faster empathy. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting and meaningful game.
