You have hours left to claim Paradise Killer free on Epic Games Store, here’s how

While many of us will be rushing around getting last-minute Christmas gifts, you also have to hurry and claim the Adventure thriller Paradise Killer before it runs out on the 23rd December at 11 AM EST (4 PM GMT).

Even in the season of giving, gamers often get treated far more than most due to the exceptional deals we get offered. But no matter what, Epic Games’ daily drop of a title that has 24 hours to be claimed ends up being one of the standouts in the holiday season and this year is no different.

What is the plot of Paradise Island?

The game is set on Paradise Island, which is governed by a cult named the Syndicate and has the aim of being a perfect society. 

But that, of course, does not end up being the case as you play as Lady Love Dies, a detective who is called in to work out who killed many of the Syndicate’s hierarchy in a mass murder.

Throughout the story, you explore the island for evidence and speak to the suspects. The story is not structured and relies on your judgment to find out who committed the murders. 

The game received rave reviews for the way it deviates from the traditional murder mystery genre and we nominated it as Best Adventure in the 2020 Aggie Awards while it was nominated for five further awards by both our readers and us at Adventure Gamers.

How to Claim Paradise Killer on the Epic Games Store’s

As with the weekly Epic Games Store giveaways, claiming one of these freebies is a pretty simple process. Here’s what to do:

  1. First, create an Epic Games Store account if you’ve not already got one. You can do that on  the Epic Games Store website or by downloading the Epic Games Store launcher from the site.
  2. Now go to the web store or launcher and go down to Free Games.
  3. Click on Paradise Island , and you should see a big blue button that says Get. If it says Buy Now, you’re on the wrong page or too late for the giveaway.
  4. Click on Get, go through with the checkout (you won’t be charged), and the game is yours to keep forever.
