In what is yet another unintentional leak courtesy of PEGI, Europe’s video game age rating system, Life is Strange is set to get another installment into the storied franchise titled Life is Strange: Reunion.

The news comes just over a year after the last title in the storied series, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, a game we believe is one of the best in the series.

It really doesn’t take much intuition to work out that the title insinuates that Max and Chloe are reunited once more, but the now-deleted article also added far more detail on the story.

“Chloe Price was Max Caulfield’s partner in time… Losing her is Max’s greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max’s help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus.”

The leak seemingly confirms the canon ending for Life is Strange: Double Exposure in the process

In Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Max is given the choice of saving Arcadia Bay or saving Chloe. Should you choose to save Arcadia Bay, you are left grieving the loss of Chloe. Should you choose to save Chloe, the two break up over the trauma they have both gone through.

But it is now all but confirmed that the canon ending is for Chloe to be saved

When will Life is Strange: Reunion be released?

In the leaked PEGI post, it stated that it would be released on the 27th March 2025.

Do not worry, you have not gone back in time. It could either have been a typo, with it meaning that it will be released on the same date in 2026, or it could have simply been added on as a placeholder.

Either way, developers Square Enix have not even announced that the game is being developed yet, never mind when it will be released, so take that 27th March release with a pinch of salt.
