The enchanting cozy game Into the Emberlands has announced its official Steam Early Access release date, along with a brand-new trailer. The game, developed by Tiny Roar and published by Daedalic Entertainment, will be available for Early Access on Steam starting June 19th, 2024. In Into the Emberlands, you play as the Lightbearer, a beacon of hope for the lost Knacks who have lost their way in the wilds. The game is set in the beautiful, procedurally generated biomes of Emberlands where players can meet quirky inhabitants ranging from lazy trolls and crazy scientists to chickens. The game offers a variety of quests and bargains, each promising unique rewards from resources and tools to equipment upgrades. The heartwarming Early Access release date trailer can be viewed here:
The game revolves around exploration and resource collection to rebuild and expand a village from a few shacks to a thriving safe haven. But remember, if your lantern's light fades while out exploring, you too will become lost, and the next Lightbearer will need to step into your shoes. The game promises an ever-sprawling world full of small adventures and big surprises, with endless replayability. Into the Emberlands evolved from Tiny Roar's former project Wanderful, adopting an open and iterative development approach.
