High Stakes Poker is going bigger than ever with seven straight days of live action

High Stakes Poker is heading back to PokerGO later this month, and this time it is going bigger than ever with seven consecutive days of live cash game action.

PokerGO has announced that the iconic poker series will stream live from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas every day from August 25 through August 31, with online poker platform CoinPoker serving as the presenting sponsor for the week.

While High Stakes Poker is no stranger to bringing some serious money to the table, this marks the first time the series has attempted seven straight days of live broadcasts.

The initial player lineup already contains a few familiar faces too, with high-stakes cash game regular Andrew Robl confirmed alongside Rick Salomon and CoinPoker ambassador Alejandro Lococo.

More players are expected to be revealed before the cards are dealt, meaning there should be plenty more big names joining the action throughout the week.

“High Stakes Poker has always been about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game,” PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks said.

“Seven straight days of live High Stakes Poker is something we’ve never done before, and we’re excited to have CoinPoker alongside us as presenting sponsor as we deliver what should be an incredible week of action for poker fans.”

CoinPoker will feature throughout the livestreams as part of the partnership, as well as appearing across the supporting promotional content surrounding the event.

For those unfamiliar, High Stakes Poker has become one of the most recognisable poker shows around thanks to its focus on nosebleed-stakes cash games rather than the tournament format commonly seen elsewhere.

That means players are putting their own stacks on the line from hand to hand, and when some of poker’s biggest personalities are involved, it doesn’t usually take long before pots start getting very expensive indeed.

PokerGO has yet to confirm the individual broadcast times for each of the seven days, while the remainder of the player lineup is also still being kept under wraps.

Further details are expected to be announced ahead of the opening livestream on August 25.
