Ensure you’re ready for Halo: Campaign Evolved with these system requirements
Halo: Campaign Evolved isn’t just a case of retexturing Combat Evolved and throwing it to the masses. This is a full remake from the ground up, bringing the iconic Xbox campaign into the modern era for even PlayStation owners out there to enjoy.
However, if you’re planning to play on PC, you’re going to want to ensure you’re ready to armor up as the legendary Spartan without any stutters or crashes.
We’ve got all the Halo: Campaign Evolved system requirements so you can slot in any upgrades ahead of its July release date.
Halo: Campaign Evolved PC system requirements, explained
The minimum system requirements for Halo: Campaign Evolved might catch you off guard a little if your brain is still locked into the original 2001 release.
At minimum, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-10700K CPU, 16GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 6600, Intel Arc A580, or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPU.
You’ll also need 100GB of available storage space, so it might be time to clear out those games you installed on that SSD and never opened.
These minimum requirements will allow you to play at 1080p 60 FPS, which probably won’t do the new visuals justice, but at least it’ll be playable.
For the recommended specs, things jump quite a bit. You’re looking at an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 or Intel Core i7-12700K CPU, 32GB of RAM, and either an AMD Radeon RX 9070 or Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPU.
You should be able to play Campaign Evolved at 4K 60 FPS with a rig of this ilk, though, so at least it’ll look very pretty.
In 2026, all of the above system requirements aren’t exactly outrageous, but if you haven’t had upgrades in a couple of years, you’ll likely be targeting the minimum specs.
That 32 GB RAM recommended requirement is also going to trip a lot up, and it’s not exactly like you can go out and secure some extra sticks this day in age since they cost an arm and a leg.
