It’s another day, and another opportunity for games to be added onto Xbox Game Pass, making your backlog that big bigger.

From January 21, subscribers can try out two action-adventure titles in the form of Death Stranding Director’s Cut and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. These are amazing additions to the service and are absolute must-plays, whether you’re fans of the franchises or not.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

You play as Sam Bridges, a man who manages to survive in post-apocalyptic America.

A mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to terrifying creatures from the afterlife roaming the collapsed world.

Despite him being emotionally distant and actively trying to avoid human contact, he is recruited by Bridges, a group who are trying to reunite the surviving civilians of America through the communication system, the Chiral Network.

Your fallen loved ones are relying on you to save the land of the free, can you make a cargo courier do just that?

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound

A spin off in the classic series, the game follows Kenji Mozu, an aspiring ninja who must protect Hayabusa Village while his master, the series icon Ryu Hayabusa travels to America.

While Hayabusa is gone, the barrier between the human world and the demon world shatters, leading to a demon invasion on the village. This forces the protege to form an unlikely alliance with Kumori, a member of the rival Black Spider Ninja Clan, after their souls become fused.

Kenji and Kumori go on a storied journey that takes them from the outskirts of Hayabusa to demon realms as they attempt to uncover the reasoning behind the demonic invasion. With multiple endings available, each choice matters in this 2D thriller.
