In a game like Arc Raiders, there is a bunch of different terminology that can become overwhelming, requiring you to put a lot of hours in to understand it all.

First Wave Husks are particularly confusing as it may be hard to distinguish between these and the broken shells of freshly killed Arc.

Let’s get into where to find them so you can gather a bunch of materials and box off any Trials related to these old-timey Arc.

First Wave Husks are actually scattered around all of the maps in the game and can be as small as Wasps, or the bigger, more robust Barons.

As you’d expect, they look a little less futuristic than what you see flying around in your raids, and instead, are more industrial.

Below is an image showing off a couple of examples of First Wave Husks so you know exactly what to look out for on your hunts.

Your best way to secure the three stars in your Trials for this is by heading to maps that have the Husk Graveyard Map Condition. This will amplify the number of these First Wave variants dramatically.

Take Dam Battlegrounds for example, if you get to the Old Battleground you’ll be surrounded by a plethora of First Wave Husks, both big and small, ready to be searched.

This is a fantastic way of upping your stores of Arc Powercells and Arc Alloy, allowing you to craft a bunch of solid gear for your next topside raid.

You may even run into a few Rocketeer Drivers too, which are needed if you’re leveling up your stations or can be put toward your Expedition efforts.

What we would say is do be careful when looting these as they do come with shock or fire effects as you breach, so ensure you have enough stamina for a dodge roll to avoid any unnecessary damage.
