Dracula sinks his teeth into the web

The world of Sherlock Holmes has been a staple of Frogwares adventure games over the last few years. Now the developers are plunging into the life of Bram Stoker’s Dracula in their latest title, Dracula: Origin, and a new website showing off the game has just been launched.

Not to be confused with Dracula 3, Origin is a third-person, point-and-click adventure that casts players in the role of Professor Van Helsing, a vampire hunter. Van Helsing’s mission is to destroy Dracula, but first he must prevent the vampire from finding a manuscript that will bring back the dead.

Dracula: Origin is currently targeting a release in the second quarter of 2008.
