Here’s if ores respawn in Windrose, so you know if you can up Copper and Iron stores
Surviving in Windrose is no mean feat. There are plenty of hazards from Boars to other pirates, coming together to make your life very difficult.
Obviously, scavenging for resources is the key to keeping your head above water, with ore being extremely valuable to any real progression you want to make.
Because of this, you’ll need to know if ores respawn in Windrose, so you can mine them over and over for use now, or at a later date.
Do ores respawn in Windrose?
If you’re struggling on the ore front, especially when it comes to Copper, Iron, and other rarer minerals, learning about any respawn systems will be essential.
The short answer to this is yes, ores do come back, but things get a little complicated past this point.
There appears to be no explicit ‘respawn timer’ for when resources like ore resurface, meaning you can’t just sit at them with a clock counting down, ready to hack away at them again. And, to compound this, we’ve not found any concrete evidence on what actually triggers the respawn mechanic during our time with the game.
However, after doing some stream watching, seeing other players’ experiences, and scouring forums, there is a suggestion that they respawn after significant in-game play time.
This can be potentially up to six hours, while also being influenced by how your camp is placed, meaning there could be other variables in play.
Maybe, as the days go by, we get a more clearer picture on the ore respawn mechanic so farming runs become way more efficient.
This could become a real possibility since so many copies have been sold, but it’s down to the community if people want to put real time into working this stuff out.
