Cave Hikers: A subterranean adventure awaits

Studio Spektar is set to take us on a unique adventure with their upcoming game, Cave Hikers. This 2D interactive cartoon mockumentary promises a fun and relaxing journey through a cavernous world, where three characters are on a quest to discover the fabled “cave with an infinite ceiling”. Starting in the characters' hometown, players will be part of an exciting escapade that involves building a catapult and filing paperwork to delve deeper into the unexplored parts of their subterranean world.

Cave Hikers stands out for its innovative features. The narrative unfolds as if the characters are creatures in a nature documentary, adding a unique twist to the gameplay. The game also includes a 'book of caves', available both as in-game images and a printable PDF. This wordless book is filled with sketches of the game's flora and fauna, and intriguingly, it includes recipes for magic potions that players can mix during the game. The alchemy component adds another layer of fun, as players collect ingredients and create potions. And in a delightful touch, any character that the cursor hovers over will wave at the player, a feature that Studio Spektar assures us “causes delight with everyone ever”.
