Blueprint Gaming brings Westeros to the reels with Game of Thrones slots
Warner Bros. has signed a significant licensing agreement with Blueprint Gaming. Online slot games inspired by House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones will be developed by Discovery Global Experiences.
With the first Game of Thrones slot machine scheduled to debut in March 2026 and more games to follow, the UK-based studio, which is a part of Germany’s Merkur Group, will be creating a number of games based on these enormous fantasy franchises.
The upcoming slots will pull directly from the shows, featuring iconic characters, memorable moments, recognizable themes and the original soundtracks from both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. It’s a chance for fans to step back into Westeros, but this time with the goal of chasing big wins instead of the Iron Throne.

Mechanics and gameplay built around Westeros
The first Game of Thrones slot will use a money-collecting mechanic paired with base-game modifiers that can activate during regular spins. These modifiers are designed to shake things up and create additional winning moments even before the bonus rounds kick in.
The free spins feature, which takes players on a tour of Westeros itself, is the main draw. While searching for bigger payouts, the game takes you through various locations from the series as the round progresses. With the possibility of significant rewards along the way, it is intended to resemble a quest across the Seven Kingdoms.
Charlie Jacka, Head of Product at Blueprint Gaming, said “Our focus has been on creating a game that stays true to the depth and identity of the series, while delivering the engaging gameplay and mechanics operators expect from Blueprint.”
Blueprint Gaming isn’t new to working with big-name franchises. The studio has previously developed slots based on The Goonies and Yogi Bear, adding to a portfolio of over 500 games. These titles are available across a wide range of regulated markets including the UK, Malta, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Canada and several others, meaning the Game of Thrones slot will be rolling out to casinos across multiple territories when it launches next month.
