Six adventure games are launching on Steam this week, and they all might be worth your time

After having so much fun playing the three adventure games that came out on Steam Early Access last week, there are now six adventure titles that are out on the service this week that could be right up your alley.

Here’s the full list and descriptions of each to whet your appetite.

Half Sword

In this medieval simulator, you play as a commoner who aims to fight his way to becoming a knight. Starting off with your bare knuckles, you fight in brutal tournaments as you build up your reputation and wealth in order to purchase swords and armory.

With a combat system and weaponry that has been designed after consultation with historians and sword users, Half Sword may be the most realistic experience we get at what it was like being a medieval swordsman.

Caim

You are a pro climber named Aava, who is ascending Mount Kami, a summit that has never been reached. Along the journey, meet unexpected companions and hear from those left on the ground. Discover the mountain’s history and decide what Aava is willing to sacrifice to achieve her dream.

The adventurer puzzler gives you that perfect mix of exploring Mount Kami, with the thought provoking actions the player has to go through to manage resources and to safely climb the mountain. It only takes one misstep for it to go horribly wrong.

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising

In this dark, open-world adventure, you awake as a Vampire Lord. Hunt for blood, fight, and gather and command your loyal servants as you aim to build a powerful Vampire Dominion. 

You also have the ability to shapeshift into a bat to explore the night of medieval Sangavia and be able to build and customise your castle. The main aim, however, is to survive the relentless Inquisition.

Echoes of Elysium 

Survive the skies of Elysium in a co-op airship survival RPG. Build and customise your floating fortress, gather resources, and explore a vast procedural clockwork world with up to 6 of your friends.
