Games Global and Foxium return to the arena with Rome Fight for Gold the Tigers Rage
Games Global and its exclusive studio partner Foxium have released the next chapter in their gladiator-themed slot series, Rome Fight for Gold the Tiger’s Rage.
Set inside a classic Roman amphitheatre, the game plays out on a 5×4 grid and introduces a new visual element: a progressive Tiger’s Rage meter sitting at the top of the screen. The visual design builds on the series’ familiar look but adds striking tiger imagery to freshen up the experience.
The main goal in the base game revolves around a Cash Collect mechanic. Collector symbols can land on reels one and five, scoop up any money symbols that hit the grid at the same time. Players can also collect bronze, silver, and gold coins that accumulate in pots above the reels. Any of these coins can randomly trigger entry into their respective bonus features, or an Imperial Bonus.

How the new Tiger mechanic works
The biggest change in this version is the Tiger’s Rage meter. During regular play, special Tiger Drops can land on the reels to slowly charge the meter. Once a player collects 10 drops and fills the meter completely, it activates Tiger Coins for the next time they enter the bonus round. These special coins are randomly added to any previously landed coins, matching their value or upgrading them to something higher.
Once you get into the bonus round, there are a few ways to increase your winnings. Getting certain jackpot tokens gives you cash prizes, and the Tiger’s Rage feature makes coin values go up on purpose. There are also a lot of special symbols in the round that can drop in to give you multipliers, extra spins, mystery symbols, or jackpot boosters.
Dan Brown, Business Development Manager at Foxium, noted that the aim of this release “was evolution rather than reinvention,” adding depth to a proven formula.
