Nelly Cootalot is a fearsome pirate (witness her stylish black eyepatch) and champion of all creatures sweet and defenseless. With that mantle comes certain responsibilities, and right now those involve restoring the funny-looking spoonbeak birds to the Barony of Meeth.
Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! is a new Underground adventure by Alasdair ‘Ali’ Becket. The comedic pirate game genre is a crowded one, but Nelly Cootalot’s clever writing, charmingly unique visual style, and original soundtrack (by Mark ‘m0ds’ Lovegrove) puts it a cut above your average Monkey Island-clone. It is apparently a medium-length game and should take a few hours to complete.
