Legends of Castile selected for AdventureX convention ahead of release
Way back in 2022, Torrenzo Entertainment started work on a new point-and-click adventure, Legends of Castille. Along the way, we have had funding, Kickstarter, regular updates and videos, and kept a close eye on what looks like it is going to be a really enchanting, beautifully-crafted adventure game.
Such is its promise, the game has now been selected to exhibit at the prestigious Adventure X game convention in London in November, where it will showcase a brand new demo and give out goodies to anybody who comes along to play.
The dev says, “The release window we set is getting closer, and we want to be upfront with you: a Christmas launch isn’t likely. The game still needs a bit more time in the oven to shine the way we all want it to.
Legends of Castile won’t be released in 2025. That said, we are doing our best to bring it to life in 2026, and we will share a clearer timeline when the moment feels right. Of course, we will keep you updated regularly, just as we have done so far.
Thanks so much for your understanding and for your continued support.
What is Legends of Castile?
Legends of Castile is a comic fantasy point-and-click adventure set in the historic Castile region of Spain in the 19th century. The main character of this adventure is María, a young and fearless, though clumsy, Castilian girl. The story begins when, just after a long night with her friends, María has a vision of the Virgin Mary, after which she decides to become a nun. María asks to be ordained at a convent in Burgos, where her future mother superior assigns her a very important mission: To fulfill her dream, María must investigate the mythological creatures that have been appearing around the territory of Castile and collect an item from each to prove their existence. Only once she has done this will the bishop take action against the creatures, to end their threat to the population of Castile… and Christianity.
