Duck Detective sequel ‘The Ghost of Glamping’ is coming to mobile at the end of November
Hit PC adventure series Duck Detective will finally be playable on the move come the end of November. If you like to do your detecting while on your daily commute then November 27th is a day to put in your phone’s calendar, whether you are an iPhone or Android user.
Berlin-based Happy Broccoli Games’ first Duck Detective game – The Secret Salami came first, and now The Ghost og Glamping, which was released on Steam last May, has over 1600 overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.
The devs describe the sequel thus: “Duck Detective is back! Get ready to interview suspects, inspect evidence, and deduce the truth in another stand-alone mystery! This campsite might have ghosts, but the real thing haunting Eugene McQuacklin is his failed marriage and bread addiction. Can he escape the shadows of his past? To the annoyance of the Duck Detective, he is joined by a new partner in (solving) crime. Work together to unravel the truth and nibble on the crumbs of justice!”
On mobile, the game will be free to start off with until you find your (webbed) feet, before you will need to make a one-off purchase to unlock the full version. Standard mobile mechanics, and at least there’s no micropayments. One payment and that’s the lot. Fair. No extra bills (sorry).
The Duck Detective games are definitely worth checking out, but if you want to stay stuck to your desktop, there is also a bundle containing both games on Steam to be had as well.
