Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror – Reforged is a 4K enhanced version of 1997 classic

Back in the 1990s, Revolution Software was pushing the envelope for point-and-click games on the 16-bit home computers. The USA had LucasArts and Monkey Islands of this world, and the UK was matching them stride for stride with the likes of the Broken Sword series, Lure of the Temptress, and Beneath a Steel Sky.

The Broken Sword setting was always enchanting, taking us through beautifully drawn depictions of Paris, and it is no wonder to see the games finding a new audience in this day and age. Now, following on from the success of the first game being “Reforged”, we are getting a faithful reimagining of the second game in the beloved and multi-award-winning adventure series.
