The Good
- Beautiful artwork and graphics
- well written dialogue between the main characters
- excellent puzzles and storyline development in the second half

- Puzzles are too rare, the pace too slow, and progress too linear in the first half
- various supporting characters are quite shallow

- not enough substance stretched across the game’s full length.

Decent
A qualified success; the positive aspects still outnumber the negative, but the weaknesses noticeably hinder the experience.
The slow-starting Another Code: R doesn’t quite live up to the legacy of its DS predecessor, but it’s a rare new adventure for the Wii, and fans of the original should find another journey worth taking.
