The year is 2247 and the advent of faster than light travel has allowed humans to spread out across the galaxy. Kayla is a 22-year-old biogenetics student who’s taken the semester off to go and stay with her father on the Cryospore, an aging military cruiser re-purposed for deep-space research. This the start of a chain of events that will take Kayla across the galaxy, racing against forces of unknown intention, with the fate of the galaxy depending on her actions.
