Every new Star Wars game announced: 2026 and beyond
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic was one of the biggest reveals at The Game Awards 2025. However, it’s just one of many new Star Wars games coming out, as there are plenty of adventures in this world yet to be had.
We’ve compiled a list of all upcoming Star Wars games, from titles launching in 2026 to entries in the long-running franchise that are yet to be shown off to players.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer (2026)
As the name suggests, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a racing game that is set in the Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy. With the Empire gone and the galaxy rebuilding, The Galactic League is created, an underground circuit involving gambling, strategy, and champions that are formed in adrenaline-filled races.
As you work to build your status in this elite league, you’ll be able to take control of different classes of repulsorcraft that wield unique physics and playstyles. This new Star Wars game will have a single-player story-driven campaign and action-packed PvP races, where players compete to be the first to cross the finish line. The Star Wars: Galactic Racer release window is expected to be 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Star Wars Zero Company (2026)
In development at Bit Reactors studios, alongside Respawn Entertainment, Lucasfilm Games, and published by EA, Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player turn-based tactics take on the world of Star Wars. Set in the twilight of the Clone Wars, you will play as the protagonist Hawks, a former Republic officer who is the leader of Zero Company.
Hawks and the Zero Company are recruited for an operation that tasks them with stopping an emerging threat that has the potential to destroy the galaxy in its entirety. You will work with unlikely allies who must leave their differences at the door to stop the dangers that lie ahead. As a second Star Wars game coming soon, Star Wars Zero Company will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2026.
Star Wars: Eclipse (TBC)
From Quantic Dream, the award-winning studio behind Detroit: Become Human, and Lucasfilm Games is Star Wars: Eclipse. This upcoming Star Wars game is described as an action-adventure game set in the High Republic era, featuring numerous playable characters with unique morals, personality traits, and motivations that will impact the story.
The narrative will be branching and feature consequences based on your choices, as you tackle new environments, species, and planets. The Star Wars: Eclipse reveal trailer debuted in 2021, but its release date and platforms remain unknown.
Star Wars Jedi 3 (TBC)
Despite not yet being revealed, EA and Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that a third and final instalment of the Star Wars Jedi games is in development. Stig Asmussen, the director of Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor, left Respawn Entertainment in 2023, and it’s unclear how this will impact the next game in the series.
Regarding upcoming Star Wars games, the absence of any teasers or reveal trailers usually indicates that a release date is still far away, so players will have to remain patient to see the end of Cal Kestis’ story.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic remake (TBC)
Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games are the studios that will shed new light on 2003’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Set four thousand years before the Galactic Empire, you are the last line of defense for the Jedi Order.
The quest to restore the Republic in the classic game saw you wield 40 distinct powers, choose your party of customizable characters, and interact with Star Wars locations. All that’s been seen of the remake was the reveal trailer back in 2021, which showed a revamped look at Revan from the original game, wielding a lightsaber.
Progress on the remake’s development is unknown at this stage, but it will be among the new Star Wars PC games and on PS5 at launch.
Skydance New Media Star Wars game (TBC)
Studio Co-President and award-winning writer and director, Amy Hennig, who is known for her work on Uncharted and the upcoming Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, announced a collaboration with Lucasfilm Games in 2022, “to develop and produce a richly cinematic action-adventure game featuring an original story in the legendary Star Wars galaxy.”
Apart from being an interactive story, nothing else is known about the game, not even its name. Skydance New Media is committed to delivering blockbuster gaming experiences that are ambitious, cinematic, and story-rich. If that’s anything to go by, Star Wars fans could be in for a truly immersive visit to the iconic galaxy with this new Star Wars game coming out.
Star Wars Collectible Card Game (TBC)
In December 2025, it was announced that Lucasfilm Games, Zero36 Studio, and CCG Lab had entered a partnership to create a new digital collectible card game for Android, iOS, and PC. You will create your own decks made up of favorite characters and battle it out in this upcoming Star Wars game to interact with the galaxy in a new way.
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic (TBC)
Last but certainly not least, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic was shown off at The Game Awards 2025. It instantly garnered swarms of attention, with the reveal trailer alone amassing 2.3 million views at the time of writing, making it one of the most highly anticipated Star Wars games coming out. It’s a narrative-driven action RPG where you use the Force throughout your journey through a galaxy on the edge of rebirth.
Its story, characters, and combat are expected to be immersive, and your choices contribute towards your adventure into the light or darkness. Former BioWare developer Casey Hudson is serving as the game director. Inspired by Knights of the Old Republic, this new chapter in Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic is currently in early development and is expected to launch before 2030.
